An incredible treasure trove of Japanese home cooking: Yasuko-san's Home Cooking. Yasuko-san's father, used to say “You eat local cuisine and you'll not get sick.” A wise man indeed.

it's one of the japanese home cooking sites that i used while i was "learning" how to make japanese food. another good one is www.sugarwara.com - not updated anymore though.
